Did you know that Lake Michigan's surface is roughly 577 feet above sea level, but it is 923 feet deep such that in its deepest parts it extends
below sea level?
The largest recorded wave on Lake Michigan was 50 feet in 1947. (it was recorded as a 100 foot wave face)
